The Story Starts
A Decade in Vietnam
From French Whisperer to Private School
My initial foray into teaching French began in the quaint corners of the neighborhood, where I was affectionately dubbed the “French Whisperer,” for making the language as accessible and delightful as a breeze through the Seine.
Yet, my ambition stretched further. I transitioned to teaching in a small, heartwarming language center, replete with the charm of a Parisian nook rather than the grandeur of an institution, yet rich in warmth and genuine camaraderie—and, occasionally, fine cheese and wine recommendations.
My reputation as the go-to French connoisseur flourished, leading me to a prestigious role in one of Hanoi’s most esteemed language schools, and eventually, an exciting tenure as the native French speaker at a distinguished school in Hà Nội.
Crafting the Ultimate French Learning Experience
Now, here’s where it gets spicy -I had starting Ceci est la France by creating short animations around French language and culture but wanted to bring it a step further. I realized there was a real hunger for the crème de la crème of French language education.
I set out to concoct the ultimate learning experience, akin to a culinary masterpiece in the realm of language education—a course so refined, it promises the intellectual stimulation of a Michelin-starred feast for the mind.

Benjamin
Benjamin taught French in Vietnam. He worked for private shcools. He created CeciestlaFrance so students have a place to connect and learn together.
Chi
Chi learned French and shares her passion for languages with other students. She has double diplomas in E-Learning and Marketing. She creates content for our social media.
Etienne
Etienne is a teacher and a writer. He has taught at international schools. He holds a master’s degree in teaching French as a second language. He creates courses and helps our students.
